Southern Glacier Experience - HLQ6
See dramatic views of majestic Southern Alps and Fiordland National Park. Discover the mystery of Lake Wakatipu's northern shores, before experiencing a snow landing on the Jura Glacier. Stand in snow surrounded by high mountain peaks. See bush covered valleys, unparalleled views of Mount Aspiring and the mighty Rees and Dart River valleys.

The Grand Circle - HLQ2
On this premier scenic flight enjoy the stunning beauty of the Wakatipu basin. The untamed Shotover River is revealed in rugged Skippers Canyon. See film locations from Lord of the Rings. Land on The Remarkables (1538 m) above Queenstown. In winter, stand in snow as you take in stunning views across Lake Wakatipu to the Southern Alps.

Alpine Summer Snow Landing - HLQ3
Spectacular alpine scenery and the opportunity to touch snow in summer make this flight unmissable. Land on a snow capped peak, stand in snow and take that special snapshot. Route dependent on snow conditions.

The Remarkables - HLQ5
Soar to the top! You will appreciate first-hand how these peaks have earned their name when you stand on the spur of The Remarkables 1538 metres above Queenstown. During winter you can stand in snow as you take in the stunning views across Lake Wakatipu to the Southern Alps.

Duration- 20 Minutes

Milford Sound - HLQ1B
Journey through New Zealand's most dramatic scenery. This captivating flight takes you over secluded alpine lakes, lush rainforest, and past rugged peaks. Experience the grandeur of the Southern Alps enroute to landing at Key Summit. Fly into the heartland of Fiordland experiencing unparalleled views of world famous Milford Sound and Mitre Peak before landing. After take-off we make our way to the spectacular Tutuko Glacier before returning to Queenstown.

Duration- 90 Minutes

Milford Fly Cruise Heli
Fly from Queenstown by aeroplane to Milford Sound, enjoy views of mountains, lakes and fiords of Fiordland National Park. Connect with Milford Sound Red Boats for your cruise. Return to Queenstown by helicopter with an alpine landing for the ultimate experience..

Heli Wine Tour
Designed for comfort, this tour maintains a relaxed and leisurely pace throughout the Gibbston wine region and is a great introduction to the wonderful wines produced locally.
Tour includes:

  • Pick up from accommodation or central Queenstown
  • Helicopter flight, sightseeing and landing on mountain range
  • Tastings at the two vineyards visited

    Skippers Trail Heli Hike
    A backcountry guided hike winding down into Skippers Canyon along the original gold miners trail. Your guide will entertain you with interesting and historical tales as you take in the scenery, plant life and stone remains. From the Long Gully Hotel ruins you will travel by 4WD further into the Canyon high above the Shotover River to the old restored schoolhouse that once educated the miner's children.
    Your guide will serve a delicious lunch and refreshments at the schoolhouse before heading back out of the canyon stopping along the way to share the beauty of the world famous Skippers Canyon.
    Completing your hike in style, an exciting scenic flight takes you over Skippers Canyon following the wild and untamed Shotover River back downstream to join your transport back to town.
    Operates from September to April.
